K-WIND SOLUTION Successfully Completes Push-on Test for CTV “KWINDS 1”

                                                                                             26th Feb., 2026

K-WIND SOLUTION Co., Ltd.(“KWS”), a specialized offshore CTV operator is proud to announce the successful completion of the Push-on Test for its first CTV, M/V KWINDS 1.

On November 12, 2025, KWS took delivery of Korea’s first IP Code-applied, 24-passenger, domestically built CTV, classed by BV(Bureau Veritas). Designed to meet international safety standards and the demanding conditions of Korean waters for clients, CTV KWINDS 1 represents a major milestone in the advancement of offshore wind marine logistics in Korea.

In preparation for commercial operations, KWS recruited a highly experienced offshore Captain (Senior DPO with 11 years of DP vessel experience) along with six top-tier Korean seafarers beginning in August 2025. Since delivery, the crew has conducted sea trials, CTV onboard familiarization training, and intensive adaptation sessions based on the company’s standardized CTV Operation Manual. These structured and repetitive training programs reflect KWS’s long-term commitment to operational excellence and safety culture.

On February 25, 2026, CTV KWINDS 1 carried out its first official Push-on Test at a Transition Piece (TP) boat landing within a domestic offshore wind farm. The test was attended by trained crew members, the CEO of KWS, and the Wind Farm Marine Coordinator (MC).

The Push-on Test was successfully completed, verifying:

· Optimal bow fender suitability and landing stability

· Precise vessel maneuverability under challenging marine conditions

· Outstanding performance of the IPS900 propulsion system

· Safe and controlled contact operations at the TP boat landing

The successful demonstration confirmed the vessel’s readiness for safe personnel transfer operations in Korea’s complex offshore environment, known for strong currents and rapidly changing weather conditions.

With the completion of this milestone event, CTV KWINDS 1 has officially finalized its commercial operation readiness and commenced offshore wind industrial personnel transportation services.

KWS will continue to enhance its fleet with two additional upgraded 24-passenger CTVs by 2028, expanding its capacity to meet growing offshore wind market demands. Through standardized training systems, internationally aligned safety management frameworks, and continuous professional development of its crew, KWS remains committed to delivering zero-incident CTV services built on trust, precision, and safety.
