K-WIND SOLUTION: Premium Offshore Wind Farm Transport Services
K-WIND SOLUTION ( “ KWS ” ) was established by shipping professionals with over 25 years of marine experience to provide safe offshore transport services for the growing wind energy sector in Korean water. We're building three 27-meter class Korea-CTVs (Class BV) specifically optimized for Korean offshore conditions.
KWS is an integrated offshore support vessel operator dedicated to delivering incident-free and safe transportation of offshore crew(IP) and cargo for Korea’s offshore wind industry.
Built on more than a decade of hands-on offshore experience, our operations are led by a highly competent Master (Senior DPO with 11 years in offshore experience), supported by trained deck officers and marine engineers. Through structured and repetitive training programs, we develop and operate specialized Offshore CTV professionals capable of performing to the highest international standards.
Operational Excellence in Challenging Waters
Korean waters are known for strong tidal currents and rapidly changing weather conditions. Recognizing these environmental challenges, KWS places particular emphasis on securing stable and precise operational capability for Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV).
All CTV crew members undergo standardized and systemized operational training, reinforced by continuous, role-specific and scenario-based exercises. Our training framework includes:
● Practical CTV sea operation drills
● Task-specific risk assessments
● Emergency response simulations
Through this disciplined approach, we embed operational readiness and safety awareness into both our management system and our onboard/offshore safety culture.
Safety-Driven Strategy and International Standards
KWS operates under a long-term vision focused on:
● Developing Korea’s leading offshore marine professionals
● Achieving safety-centered operational performance
● Implementing internationally aligned safety management systems
● Enhancing crew expertise through standardized CTV operation manuals
Our goal is clear: to provide reliable, zero-incident CTV services that earn the trust of developers, contractors, and offshore industrial personnel alike.
Expanding a Next-Generation CTV Fleet
In November 2025, KWS took delivery of Korea’s first 24-passenger CTV “M/V KWINDS 1” built under the IP Code and classed by BV(Bureau Veritas), GARD P&I.
Looking ahead, we plan to further expand our fleet with two additional upgraded 24pax CTVs by 2028, strengthening our capability to meet the growing demands of the offshore wind sector.
By combining differentiated safety-focused CTV assets with stable and professional marine transport services, KWS is committed to building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with global offshore stakeholders.
